Mystery bug sickens hundreds at North Texas high school

We usually have some sort of stomach bug roll through our elementary school here in MN through out the winter. Some harder hit than others, depending on the virus. Not really news worthy.... and it can knock the whole school out. If it does, they just close the school for a few days.

1. I understand Tom's statement of hating Hospice. I worked it. I didn't hate the work I did, or the people I met... I hated the suffering that often times was the predecessor to the hospice. I hated that this was the end for some.

bleeding from tonsillectomies and infection can happen, and does. No lawsuit, you sign a form saying you understand the risks that come with any and all surgeries. It happens. It's sad, but it does happen at fault of no one but mother nature.

I am crossing my fingers they somehow found some form of shelter, somewhere. We live in MN and spent only 30 minutes the other night at a holiday festival and we had to leave, it was only -18.

We need to teach our children to overcome. There are ways of navigating the social media empire that is. Join clubs, get involved in after school activities, surround yourself with positive people and ignore the negative. Keep adults informed of what is going on if it gets bad.

I lied to my Dad once.... never again. I have great respect for the man... but that spanking was all it took for me to realize I was not in charge... Of course he started with the "this is going to hurt me more than it hurts you" line...
